Registration Form
Registering your beloved retired service animal with the NFRSA has its benefits. Sign up today – it’s very simple, and more importantly, it’s completely FREE..
WHY SHOULD YOU REGISTER WITH THE NFRSA?
It’s really straightforward – we are here to support you, and by becoming a member of the NFRSA family, it will help us to do just that.
The most important thing to remember is we do NOT charge any monthly membership fees in order to access our grants. Our gifts are just that, gifts. We give our help, where we can, with nothing but love and respect.
Here’s how it works.
By registering your retired dog or horse from the police, fire, prison, national crime agency, NHS, and border force services, you will:
- Make the process of applying for a grant much faster, as we will already know you
- Have access to special members offers from our partners. This could be such things as food, insurance, or discounts on the products you need, or would like!
- Be able to stay in touch with us. We will keep you up to date with the NFRSA journey by sending out (only with your permission), a quarterly newsletter
- Feel you belong to something very special. We are a family, and we want you to feel a part of that family
- Feel completely safe. Your data will NEVER be shared with anyone. We wouldn’t dream of abusing your trust
- Know that in times of deep stress, we will be there to support you and make a worrying situation that much easier
The important stuff: Please note that by being a member, it does not automatically mean your application will be successful. Each one will be treated with our due diligence and grant structures – details are on the application form. But it WILL mean the process will be streamlined as we will already know you, and your wonderful retired dog or horse.
Please also note that you will need to have been successfully registered with the NFRSA for a period of 30 days before you can apply for assistance. This enables us to process your membership and application details and get you settled in – so it is very important you register your retired animal with us as soon as possible.
While in some cases this may well be unavoidable, (and we will look at each case separately), on the whole we do not encourage owners to register and apply for funding immediately afterwards.
Likewise, we cannot accept a registration and retrospectively settle previous claims by a period of 30 days. (eg. Register and apply for a grant for vets fees dated over 30 days previous to the date of your joining).
This form is treated as confidential and is subject to our Privacy Policy (view here).
PLEASE NOTE: While we would love to help everyone, your retired service animals must have been re-licensed at least once in order to qualify. We regret we cannot accept any animal that has served less than that period, but take comfort in the fact they will be young enough to be able to insure.
